Notorious criminal involved in several robberies held in Delhi

A notorious criminal allegedly involved in over hundred cases of robbery and snatching has been caught and half-a-dozen high-end mobile phones found from his possession, police said today.
Monu, a member of 'Lambu' gang, was caught by a Crime Branch team from DDA parking near Kalkaji temple, Joint Commissioner (Crime) of Police, Ravindra Yadav said.
"He has admitted to committing more than hundred robberies and snatching along with his associates of Lambu gang. Five cases of robbery and snatching have been worked out through his arrest while he has also given details of 17 other cases which are being verified," he claimed.

A stolen motorcycle was also recovered from his possession, the officer said.
