Notorious rowdy arrested for attacking SI

A notorious rowdy was arrested today for allegedly attacking a Sub-Inspector with sickle near here today, police said.
SI Madasamy had gone to question the man regarding a complaint against him when he was attacked.
He has been admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, police said.
