A UK businesswoman has developed an indoor puppy treadmill that lets you take your dog for a walk in wet weather.
Sammy French came up with the idea of 'The Fit Fur Life' range after an operation put her out of action for several months and she started "walking" her four dogs on the treadmill at home.
However, such a large machine wasn't ideal, so she designed a range for different sizes of dogs, the 'Daily Mail' reported.
French worked with a vet to ensure the treadmills would be suitable for rehabilitating dogs that had been injured - as well as those that simply needed exercise.
The smallest treadmill that costs 870 pounds is aimed at tiny breeds such as chihuahuas, toy poodles and cocker spaniels, while the 'Ultimate' treadmill for an eye-watering 7,795 pounds is large enough to support a mastiff or great dane.
The treadmill, however, still is an expensive way to avoid taking your pooch for a walk in the rain, the report said.
