Now, get onion as gift from hotel

As a novel marketing strategy, a Jamshedpur based hotel will gift a kg of onion to a customer if his or her bill exceeds Rs 500, during its 10-day long Biryani-Kabab festival, which began today.
"As the price of onion is soaring day by day, we decided to gift it to give the people some relief," Sanjay Upadhyay, an official of the Hotel, said here.
Onion price in the steel city is hovering around Rs 55 to Rs 60 per kg.
The gift would be given till September 3, when the Biryani-Kabab festival would be concluded, the hotel official said.
