Now post letters at petrol bunks

Seeking to help customers on the move, Department of Posts has set up "TV type' letter boxes at petrol bunks in the Tamil Nadu circle.
The boxes have been set up at the exit side of the petrol bunk to facilitate posting of letters by customers without having to get out of the vehicle, an official release said.
Currently, such boxes have been installed at petrol bunks in Teynampet, Vysarpadi, Kilpauk, Tiruvanmiyur, Arakkonam, Mudaliarpet in Puducherry, Villupuram and Chengalput, it said.
