Batting strongly for three separate states in Jammu and Kashmir, National Panthers Party today released its manifesto which proposed referendum in Gilgit-Baltistan region and in PoK, delimitation of assembly constituencies and the safe return of Kashmiri pandits to their homes.
The party also demanded the Centre to grant general amnesty to the political detunes from Jammu and Kashmir as well as PoK to provide an opportunity to the misguided youth to see the light of the day.
"We are for carving out three separate states of Jammu province, Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region with one separate Assembly for the each of the states," JKNPP patron Bhim Singh told reporters here while releasing manifesto for the party here.
"There shall be Federal State of Jammu and Kashmir with three provincial assemblies for each region so that each region may enjoy absolute political power to ensure its development under the mandate of the Constitution of India," he said.
Singh said that to seek the comprehensive resolution of the regional tension existing at present among three regions of the state, there lies a necessity to reorganise the state under the constitutional mandate of Article 370.
The Panthers Party stands for holding referendum in Gilgit-Baltistan region and in PoK so that the residents of the occupied areas may make their final choice whether they would like to stay under the occupation of Army-dominated government of Pakistan, he said.
