NRHM scam: 11 produced in special CBI court

Former Uttar Pradesh minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, legislator RP Jaiswal and seven other accused in the multi-crore National Rural Health Mission scam were today produced before a CBI court here. Kushwaha, BSP MLA Jaiswal, P K Jain, B N Shrivastav, Katar Singh, B N Ramyadav, J K Singh, Naresh Grover, R K Singh, P K Mukesh and D K Singh were produced before the court. The court has fixed March 1 as the next date of hearing in the case. The National Rural Health Mission(NRHM) scam relates to alleged swindling of over Rs 10,000 crore central funds allocated to Uttar Pradesh under the mission.
