The exhibition on the theme, 'Saal Ek Shuruaat Anek' was in compliance with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas' directive of organising exhibitions in 20 cities across the country through various departments under its administrative control, an NRL press release said today.
Cut outs of various schemes launched by the government during the past year to benefit the people at large were displayed at the exhibition venue with soft copy of the materials received from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity).
NRL's Senior General Manager (Technical) Dhananjay Ghosh dwelt on the various schemes launched by the government at the Centre and the benefits it offered for the common man.
"Just like a parent celebrates the good results of his child with his family and well wishers, it is important that the good work of the government is celebrated and highlighted," he said.
He also explained the objective of the exhibition and role of NRL as a facilitator.
A general health camp was also organised at the exhibition venue and 150 beneficiaries availed its benefits.
