The National Stock Exchange is witnessing a flurry of activity on its SME platform this month, with the listing of three companies.
Nagpur-based Emkay Taps and Cutting Tools got listed on NSE's small and medium enterprises (SME) platform today while Indore's Mohini Fibers would list on August 17, the exchange said in a statement.
Besides, another Indore based-Capco Industries got listed yesterday.
With this, the total count on the platform comes to 18. This includes companies listed on NSE Emerge platform through an initial public offering (IPO) and Emerge-ITP where firms are listed without an IPO.
The exchange launched the SME platform, Emerge, in September 2012 and Emerge ITP was introduced in December 2013.
However, on the rival BSE's SME platform, more than 100 companies got listed in over three years of its existence.
