Kiran returned to her room last night from the nursing institute and took the extreme step, police said.
A suicide note was recovered from Kiran's room, in which she had apologised to her parents for taking her life, and held no one responsible.
Meanwhile, the family members have alleged that the nursing institute authorities and staff were mentally harassing her.
