President Barack Obama has discussed Iranian nuclear negotiations with French President Francois Hollande
In a description of the call, the White House says the US and France are in "full agreement" regarding a deal they, along with four other world powers, presented to Iran. The White House says the US and France consider the proposal to be a "sound step" toward ensuring Iran is not seeking a bomb.
The statement was an attempt to quell speculation of cracks among the six world powers negotiating with Iran. During the talks in Geneva, France expressed concerns that the proposed limits on Iran's ability to make nuclear fuel do not go far enough.
US officials later said it was Iran who couldn't agree to the deal. Talks resume next week.
