Objectionable contnent among students upsets professor

Messages, containing alleged objectionable content, circulating on 'whatsapp' among students against a Professor of a journalism institute here had forced her to offer to step down as head of a department.
It is learnt that "upset" over the contents of the messages, the professor had offered to step down last week as head of a course.
Sources said the professor was, however, persuaded to continue in her current position.
