"Out of 9,700 athletes, only six tested positive, most of them from team games," said OCA president Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Sabah today.
OCA's medical commission head and former Asian sprint champion Dr Mani Jegathesan said there was a robust anti-doping programme set in place.
"We tested 1607 athletes and six tested positive," said Dr Jegathesan and identified five dope offenders' discipline and nationalities.
