The accident took place when the duo were headed to Podamari from Berhampur. Their motorcycle collided with a truck, they said.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Prasant Kumar Panda and his wife Rupa (30), both residents of Shakti Nagara in Berhampur, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here, police said.
