In the first phase, four temporary campuses would be set up in Bondamunda ITI in Bhubaneswar, Jharsuguda Engineering School (JES) in Jharsuguda, Rourkela ITI and Bolangir ITI.
All these centres would operate under the Odisha Skill Development Project, it said adding the new centres would function as self sufficient institutes for students in their regions in the same way as ITIs and Polytechnics.
The new skill development centres would be funded jointly by the state government as well as the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
