Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said the state has been recognised as a "leader" by the Centre for facilitating reforms on doing business.
"In recent ranking of ease of doing business declared by the government of India, Odisha has been reckoned as a leader for facilitating reforms for doing business in the state," Patnaik said.
The state government is committed to provide a conducive atmosphere to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), the chief minister said while launching the online Administration of Incentive for MSME (AIM) yesterday.
MSME entrepreneurs will now be able to apply for various incentives online and avail the benefits within a defined timeframe, he said.
Since 2011-12, a total of 973 MSME units have been given incentives of Rs 80.50 crore and those units generated employment to nearly 22,200 persons in the state.
