Odisha minister demands probe into charges against Shah's son

Odisha minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) vice-president Damodar Rout today demanded a probe into the claims in a media report that a company owned by BJP chief Amit Shah's son saw a huge rise in its fortunes after the saffron party came to power.
"Jay Amit Shah's company recorded a turnover which is 16,000 times more than its previous year's turnover. Is it not gambling? This may be possible as Amit Shah is in power," he said in a statement.
At a press meet, Odisha Congress chief Prasad Harichandan also demanded a probe into the matter.
"The Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas slogan of the BJP actually means Amit ke saath, son Jay ka vikas," he said.

Odisha BJP spokesperson Sajjan Sharma dismissed Rout's comments against Shah and his son.
