This has been decided at a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary B K Patnaik.
As per preliminary estimates, each unit will require about 50-150 acres of land with approximate investment of Rs 150 crore to Rs 500 crore, depending on the size and inclusiveness of services, he said.
The facilities would add to transportation, inventory, ware housing material handling and clearance.
"It has been proposed to set up this infrastructure in six major industrial hubs of the state namely Rourkela, Paradeep, Kalinganagar, Jhatsuguda, Angul and Dhamara," a senior official said.
The Collectors of Angul, Bhadrakh, Jajpur and Jharsuguda have been asked to specify the land for development of such parks.
The official said a professional agency has been engaged for development of model design within a week.
