Presiding over a meeting, Chief Secretary A P Padhi directed the concerned departments to ensure 100 per cent implementation of the reforms, already notified by the administration.
"The district and field level officers should be fully aware about the importance and objectives of the reforms and implement those proactively," Padhi said.
The meeting deliberated on Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP)-2017. Around 405 action plans pertaining to 18 departments were suggested in the BARP-2017, of which around 12 action points were found not applicable, Industries Secretary Sanjeev Chopra said.
So far 173 action points have been complied with and compliance to other action points were being carried forward. Padhi directed the departments to complete the process of reform and their implementation by October 31 and asked the respective departments to publicize the reforms they have already introduced.
The meeting resolved to have regular review of the implementation of the reforms at various levels. Each department would designate a Nodal Officer for the purpose at department level. Secretary of the concerned department would take a weekly review while the industries department will take a fortnightly review with the nodal officers of the departments.
The proposal about shifting to online single window system in place of the present system of running e-BIZ single window was also discussed in the meeting.
