"Odisha has emphasised on promotion of tourism through sincere efforts of hoteliers, tour operators and other stakeholders," state Tourism and Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda said.
This is another initiative to attract domestic tourists from an important source state and commercial capital of the country, Panda added.
The department of tourism is also organising a number of tourism events like Konark Festival, International Sand Art Festival, Parab Tribal Festival, Dhanu Yatra Festival, Rajarani Music Festival and Mukteswar Dance Festival to attract more domestic and international tourists.
As per the policy, a state-level Single Window Committee has been created for speedy implementation of the projects.
Several incentives have also been announced for tourism stakeholders.
In August last year, a 'Light and Sound Show' had been organised in Dhauli and it will take place in Konark and Khandagiri-Udayagiri, Panda said.
