Ola gets Indifi on board for personal loans to drivers

Taxi hailing app Ola today announced its partnership with Indifi for easy access to personal loans for drivers registered on its platform.
Indifi is a tech start-up that enables small enterprises to gain greater access to debt financing.
Ola has already initiated the loan scheme in Pune and Bengaluru and plans to partner with multiple finance partners in the next six months to make this facility available to drivers across the country, the company said in a release.
Through this partnership, it said, driver partners can now avail of loans for their personal needs like marriage, business of spouse and home renovation.
Drivers who have been with Ola for more than six months or those who have paid a minimum of eight EMIs of their car loan will be eligible to apply for personal loans through this partnership, it added.
"We are committed to ensuring personal and professional well-being of our driver partners. This initiative and more such partnerships in coming months will be a major step in that direction," Ola Chief Operating Officer Pranay Jivrajka said.
