One-way trip, where customers are charged only for one way instead of round trip for inter-city travel, has been rolled out in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Kanpur.
"The number of cities are set to grow substantially in the next two months...Within 5 months of its launch and presence in over 45 cities, Ola Outstation has witnessed a month-on- month growth of 50 per cent," Ola said in a statement.
"Through Ola Outstation, we are structuring the fragmented outstation travel segment like never before. With the introduction of 'One-way' trip fares, we are bringing increased affordability, from the efficiencies of scale that our platform has built," Ola CMO and Head of Categories Raghuvesh Sarup said.
Also, through an advance booking feature, Ola Outstation allows a commuter to pre-book a ride upto two days in advance.
