Porvorim police in Goa are searching for a 27-year-old man for allegedly kidnapping an 87-year-old woman.
Dileshwar Patra, the acused, worked as a caretaker at an old age home in Mapusa where the woman, Nativadade Fernandes, lived, police said.
As per the complaint filed by her friend, Patra befriended Nativadade, and last year she left the old age home and started living in a rented flat in Porvorim with him, said inspector Jivba Dalvi of Porvorim police.
Some days ago both Patra and the woman went missing and Rs 4 lakh were withdrawn from her account which led to filing of complaint.
