A world level zaitun plants' nursery was readied in Jaipur and farmers would be provided its sapling on 75 per cent financial grant, Raje told a high level meeting attended by among others by zila pramukh, important farmers and representatives of tribal area in a pre-annual budget exercise here.
Olive Oil Refinery would be set up in Bikaner this year, and three lakh Zaitun saplings would be provided to the breeders, she said.
To provide better benefit a 'kisan bhawan' was set constructed at every district headquarters in the state, and "kisan kaleva" (breakfast) was being served to them at Rs.5 per head, she said.
Claiming that her government was committed to all round development agriculture and farmers, Raje said for drip irrigation the state was providing 20 per cent extra financial grant to farmers.
Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal husbandary departments were working on the best quality research and provide the better facilities to farmers and breeders on all aspects.
The meeting was attended among others by the Panchayati Raj Minister Gulab Chand Kataria, Tribal Minister Nand Lal Meena, agriculture minister Prabhu Lal Saini, and Engery Minister Gajendra Singh Kheenvsar, and concerned secretaries.
