Olivia Newton-John ready to stop touring at 64
Press Trust of India London 'Grease' star Olivia Newton-John says her current world tour might be her last as she wants to take time out and focus on her cancer wellness centre. After travelling around the world on her current string of dates, the 64-year-old actress and singer said she may well pitch her wagon in Las Vegas, reported Express online. She is celebrating 40 years in music with the UK stint of her world tour, starting in Cardiff on March 10 and visiting Bournemouth, London, Brighton, Birmingham and Manchester before ending in Glasgow on March 18. "The British tour is the last leg I did a 35-city tour in America and went to Asia. Then I'm going to slow down on touring, I'm not sure if I will do any more, maybe do a Vegas thing because it is more in one place. I'll see it will definitely be the last tour for a while and maybe always," she said. "Now I want to concentrate on the hospital," said Newton-John of her Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in her native Melbourne. As for the news that US magazine Billboard voted her 1981 single 'Physical' as its sexiest song of all time, Newton-John said, "Isn't that hilarious! It's so tame compared to so many of the other songs that have been since. In its day it was banned, I'm kind of proud of that now."
