The play will be performed at the Alhamra Art Centre starting from March 12 to 15.
"My wish to see Lahore is fulfilled today. I had been in Pakistan before but couldn't get a chance to visit Lahore," Puri, 65, said while talking to the reporters at Wagah.
He said he would also celebrate his birthday in Lahore.
The stage performance has been organised by the Barfi Theatre Productions, which is headed by Badar Khan, a famous comedian.

Siddiqui is the writer of popular Indian movies such as 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Baazigar' and 'Zubeidaa'.
Khan said the play had been staged in India for the last 20 years with Shabana Azmi and late Farooq Sheikh as its stars and Feroz Abbas Khan as its director.
He said Puri got translated the play into Punjabi and the Punjabi translation (of the play) would be staged at Alhamra.
The Punjabi version has been directed by Puri.
Divya Datta, who is known for her works predominantly in Bollywood and Punjabi cinema, said: "It was a good experience to be in Karachi earlier. I have heard a lot about Lahore and will see the city during my stay," she said.
