Omar, Governor discuss state security

Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today discussed issues relating to internal and external security of the state.
Omar met the Governor at Raj Bhavan here, a spokesman said.
The Governor and Chief Minister discussed issues relating to internal and external security management, the spokesman said.
During the meeting that lasted for over a hour, the Chief Minister also briefed the Governor about various important matters which had been decided in the Budget session of the Assembly.
Among other things, the Governor stressed on the need for ensuring prompt further action and effective enforcement in respect of certain Bills which had been passed by the legislature.
