Director Omung Kumar says he does not have the fear of facing backlash from Pakistan for his upcoming film "Sarbjit", a biopic on Indian prisoner who died in the neighbouring country.
The film portrays the struggle of Sarabjit Singh, played by Randeep Hooda, and his family through his sister Dalbir Kaur's journey for justice, essayed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Omung said the film does not show any of the two countries in a bad light.
"There is nothing as such in the film that will create backlash. We want to release the film worldwide. The idea is to make Indians and Pakistani and others realise what happens when an incident like this happens," Omung told PTI.
"We are not pin-pointing anyone, there is fault in us also... There is some fault in the system as well," he added.
The film also stars Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar in pivotal roles and is set to release on May 20.
