A person, who along with two of his accomplices had allegedly looted a Gurugram-based jewellery shop in June, has been arrested, the Haryana Police said today.
Three armed men had looted the shop in Badshahpur and had fled with gold and other items on June 20, a spokesman said here.
The police nabbed the person from Khedli in Rajasthan, he said.
Abhishek alias Abhi, a resident of Mohna village in Faridabad, has confessed to having committed the crime along with two of his accomplices, the spokesman claimed.
Several cases are lodged in Faridabad against the accused, including attempt to murder, robbery and assault, he said.
Efforts are on to arrest the other two accused and recover the stolen gold and other items, the spokesman added.
