One arrested in Muradnagar murder case

Police today claimed to have solved a murder case at Muradnagar in the district with the arrest of a person, an official said.
Shraddhanand, a resident of Mainapur village was shot dead on April 17 near railway crossing, SHO, Muradnagar, Ummed Yadav said.
After prolonged investigation based on electronic surveillance, police detained one Sachin, a resident of the same village, Yadav said.
During interrogation, Sachin alleged that Shraddhanand was the mastermind behind a dacoity that took place at his house some 12 years ago in which his father was bludgeoned to death by robbers.
In a bid to take revenge, Sachin shot dead Sharaddhanand, Yadav claimed.
