Police sub-inspector S A Waidande of the Kalwa police station told PTI that the girl aged 13 years who had gone out to answer nature's call yesterday was dragged into a hut in the locality by one of the accused who allegedly raped her.
Later, another accused who is said to be a teenager joined him and the two of them raped the girl, between 1.30 pm and 8.30 pm, the complaint by the survivor said.
Later in the night, the survivor reached home and revealed everything to her parents who rushed to the police station and lodged a complaint against the two accused.
The police swung into action and arrested Liyakat Ali Mullah alias 'Babu' (22) last night.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the second accused who is said to be a minor, police said.
