One arrested with heroin worth Rs 60,000

Mizoram excise and narcotics department's anti narcotic squad today seized 17 gm of heroin in Aizawl, the department's spokesperson said.
He said Vanlalhruaii (31) of Tuirial village near Aizawl was arrested for possession of the contraband worth around Rs 60,000.
The accused reportedly said the drugs was smuggled from Myanmar and she was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
