One bike rider killed, another injured after being hit by bus

One motorcycle rider died on the spot, while another was seriously injured when a bus hit them in Nawada district of Bihar, a police official said.
The incident occured on National Highway - 31 near Siswan More in the district and the deceased has been identified as Ram Naresh Singh (40), a resident of Siswan village. The injured is his brother.
Nawada Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sanjay Kumar Pandey said, "The bus was coming from Kolkata and was on its way to Biharsharif in Nalanda district. The driver managed to escape with the vehicle after the accident."
The angry locals blocked the NH-31 after the accident demanding a speed-breaker on the road there and compensation to the family of the victim.

They lifted the blockade after the police and district administration officials assured them of action.
