One dead, another hospitalised after consuming liquor

One person died and another took ill today soon after they consumed liquor from a Government-run TASMAC outlet in Gudalur, about 70 kms from here, police said.
Ibrahim and Gangadharan, who consumed the liquor, swooned as soon as they reached the bus stop, some distance away from the shop, police said.
Ibrahim was brought dead at the hospital while the other person had been referred to the Government Hospital here.
The cause of the death would be known only after post-mortem, they said.
