A 26-year-old man from Mumbai was killed and six others were injured when their car overturned after being hit by an unidentified vehicle at Waldevi bridge in Nashik district early on Friday, police said.
The occupants of the car were proceeding to Shirdi from Mumbai when the accident took place on Mumbai-Nashik highway around 2.45 am, police said.
The deceased is a resident of Lower Parel in Mumbai, police said, adding that the injured, who also hail from Mumbai, were admitted to Nashik civil hospital for treatment.
Investigation into the case is on, police said.
