One dies of food poisoning in Kathua

A man who had fallen sick due to food poisoning died today in the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu where he was undergoing treatment for the past few days.
Chajju Ram (72) was one amongst the over 100 people who had fallen ill after eating food at a social gathering in village Chak Nathal in Hiranagar Tehsil in this district, police said.
Majority of the sick people were admitted in the local hospital from where three seriously sick people were shifted to Jammu for specialised treatment.
