The official sources said Ramadevan might have died of burns under sunlight, dehydration and heart-attack yesterday.
However, the exact cause of death and intensity of the sunstroke could be ascertained only on receipt of forensic laboratory examination report, the sources said.
In all 17 persons so far suffered burns under the sunlight in the district and none of them was in a serious condition, the sources said.
The temperature in the district recorded was three degree Celsius higher than the last year, according to the Kerala Agricultural University's Meteorological Sources.
