It has been barely two years since Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik appeared on the talent show.

But they have cashed in on their success ever since, cracking the lucrative US market, selling three million copies of their debut album 'Up All Night' and landing countless endorsement deals, reported Sun online.

They have even got their own range of dolls.

According to a revised version of music mogul Simon Cowell's biography Sweet Justice, the band have earned almost a million pounds a week since they were dumped out of the X Factor in December 2010.

They've made twice as much for Cowell's company Syco and record label Sony.

One Direction have just signed a multi-million pound deal with Pepsi and have a money-spinning world tour scheduled next year.
