One injured after portion of skywalk falls near Charni Road

One person was injured after some portion of skywalk, that was under repairs, near Charni Road station fell on him this evening, a senior civic official said.
The injured has been admitted to the nearby G T hospital and is out of danger, said the official, adding, the municipal staff has already reached the spot.
He said phase wise demolition and reconstruction of the skywalk is being carried out by the Bridge department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
