According to the police, the incident took place around 9.15 AM when the Road Taxed Vehicle (RTV), carrying 25 government employees, overturned after one of its front tyres came off while on Defence Colony flyover and the mini-bus skidded off the road.
50-year-old Dharmendra, a Railway employee and resident of Madangir, was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre but was declared brought dead, police said.
Thirteen people have suffered injuries on their heads and limbs and have been taken to AIIMS and RML hospitals for medical care, they said, adding that the condition of two of them is said to be serious.
