A 27-year-old man died while another sustained serious injures when their motorcycle rammed into a pick-up truck in Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot district, police said on Wednesday.
The accident took place on Tuesday morning in Ramnagar area, SHO Raipura Rajesh Kumar said.
The deceased has been identified as Vipin Kumar.
Both the persons were referred to a community health centre in Ramnagar where Vipin succumbed to his injuries.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, police said, adding that a case has been registered against the driver of the truck for rash driving.
