Rajesh Kumar died in the incident while Naresh, who was injured, fired shots from his country made revolver when people started assembling at the accident site, they said.
Later, the crowd apprehended Naresh, resident of Jakholi village and handed him over to the police.
Naresh was wanted by police of few neighbouring districts in several cases of theft, dacoity and extortion of money, they said. He has been admitted to a local hospital, they said.
