The 65-year-old man was killed when a tree fell on him during dust storm in Khudaganj area this afternoon, whereas six persons were injured at different places, police said.
The day temperature rose appreciably in Faizabad, Gorakhpur divisions and changed little in the remaining parts of the state, MeT department said.
The MeT warned that dust storm or thunderstorm accompanied with squall may hit isolated places over western parts of UP on June 6.
