One killed in road accident at Yamuna Expressway

The cleaner of a truck was killed while the driver sustained critical injuries when a speeding vehicle hit them when they were replacing a tyre at Yamuna Expressway today, police said.
The mishap took place about 51 km from zero point in Tappal area when the truck was going from Noida to Agra via Yamuna Expressway.
In Tappal area, the truck's tyre got burst. Thereafter, the truck driver and cleaner were replacing the tyre when the speeding vehicle hit them following which they were injured.
The duo were rushed to Kailash Hospital at Greater Noida where truck cleaner Abdul died during treatment, while driver Anand's condition is critical.
