One killed, three injured in collision

One woman was killed and three of her family members were seriously injured when a car collided with a truck in Nalanda district of Bihar in the early hours today, the police said.
The mishap happened near Murauda village and the deceased has been identitied as Lalita Devi (29). Among the injured are her husband Sudhir Yadav and two sons.
Biharsharif Station House Officer B Jyoti said, "The car was travelling from Biharsharif to Asthawan while the truck was coming from the opposite direction. The collision was so severe that the woman died on the spot. The three injured are in critical condition and have been admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital."

The SHO said the body has been sent for postmortem. The vehicles involved in the accident have been seized.
