The paper will focus on what AAP inherited from the previous government and what plans it has to improve the power situation in the national capital.
Power minister Satyendra Jain formed the committee under the chairmanship of former DERC head Bijendra Singh and directed him to look into various aspects of the power sector since 2002 and submit the paper within a period of three months.
After the completion of report, it will be tabled in the Assembly. The White Paper will also cover the time frame since 2002 when the Congress was in power, during which the sector saw privatisation.
"White paper will also focus on what steps should be taken to improve power situation so that people don't have to face problems," Jain said here.
