A man, identified as Md. Qasim, who was among 11 persons injured in the incident, succumbed to injuries in a hospital, Bahadurganj police station's Station House Officer (SHO) Chitranjan Thakur said.
Ten other injured persons were undergoing treatment at hospitals, where the condition of four of them was stated to be critical, he said.
The jeep driver has been arrested and the vehicle impounded, Thakur said.
