Unidentified persons fired at Bhagwanti (60), Kashmira and Kamlesh near a water tank in Bholupara village and fled the spot, Superintendent of Police of Karauli, Yogesh Yadav said.
While Bhagwanti died in the firing, the two other women, Kashmira and Kamlesh were admitted to a nearby hospital, the SP said.
Old enmity was stated to be the reason behind the incident, though investigation was on to ascertain exact reason, the SP said adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.
