Online reservation facility to be introduced at Rameswaram

With a view to ensure a hassle-free experience for pilgrims visiting Sri Ramanathaswamy temple here, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department today announced that online reservation facility for taking bath at the holy sites, would be introduced soon.
The new system would enable the pilgrims to take bath on the appointed time and without any hassle, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments commissioner R Jaya told PTI.
Inspecting the facilities for pilgrims at the temple, she said the temple authorities had been directed to keep the floor clean.
She also said 'Ramayana circuit' house would be built in Rameswaram temple on behalf of the temple shortly.

The Commissioner was accompanied by district collector Natarajan during her visit to the temple.
