OPCC passes resolution to make Rahul Gandhi Congress president

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) today urged AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to take over the charge of the party president.
A resolution in this regard was unanimously passed at the meeting of the newly elected 415 Pradesh Congress Committee members assembled at the Congress Bhavan here.
"An unanimous resolution has been passed to urge Rahul-ji to take over as the Congress president," OPCC president Prasad Harichandan told reporters after the meeting.
The PCC members also passed another resolution authorising the Congress President to nominate the OPCC president, Executive Committee and the AICC members.
